About Me

I am a professor at the department of mathematics at LMU. My research concerns the intersection of low-dimensional topology and geometric group theory. You can (usually) find me in office 318 at the department.

I obtained my PhD in 2011 at the University of Bonn under the supervision of Ursula Hamenstädt. After that, I was a Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago, and an Assistant in Bonn, before coming to LMU. My detailed CV can be found here.
