We are delighted to share that Prof. Dr. Gitta Kutyniok has been elected Vice President of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW).
We warmly congratulate, Prof. Dr. Gitta Kutyniok, on her election as Vice President of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften, BBAW) — one of the most prestigious scholarly institutions in Germany, bringing together leading researchers across an extraordinary breadth of disciplines.
This recognition speaks to something at the very heart of our work at MATH4AI: artificial intelligence is inherently interdisciplinary. Every day in our research on the mathematical foundations of AI, we see how it connects to fields including mathematics, computer science, medicine, neuroscience, engineering, law, philosophy, and the social sciences. Fostering dialogue across these boundaries is exactly the kind of exchange the Academy embodies — and precisely what is needed to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
